Montgomery School Board President Charlotte Meadows at this month's MCRC

Charlotte Meadows, President and District 2 Representative for the Montgomery County Board of Education, will address the Montgomery County Republican Club at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, February 21st at the Faulkner University Dining Hall.

With the recently-announced changes to the Montgomery Public School system, come hear the real story from an outstanding local leader.

Dinner is optional and cost $7 per person.

UPDATE: Looking to become involved in making Montgomery's public schools better?  Believe it Montgomery is a grassroots effort of the Montgomery Education Foundation and promotes a more informed community that demands "higher standards and accountability" from  Montgomery Public Schools and gives citizens a voice in moving the schools system forward.

Speaker Hubbard to address Capital City Young Republicans on February 28th

The Capital City Young Republicans will meet on February 28th at the Farmer's Market Cafe (315 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, AL) from 12:00- 1:30pm. Our guest speaker will be Representative Mike Hubbard of Auburn who is the newly elected Speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives. We will also be electing new officers on the 28th and are excited to have new faces joining us. Members, it is that time of year again to renew your membership; annual dues are $25 and can be paid at the meeting.
